Conferences:
Conferences for all students are scheduled for Thursday, October 9 from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Friday, October 10 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. I look forward to seeing everyone at conferences.
No School:

Welcome to our 3-5 FAN classroom. My name is Ms. Carver and this is my third year at Cowern Elementary. I have been an elementary teacher for nine years. Prior to returning to teaching, I was a college administrator for eleven years.
This is an exciting year for our students. We've planned many challenging and fun activities that will help your student meet their academic goals. My focus this year for our students is personal accountability and responsibility, something that will carry over in all areas of your child's growing years! I work closely with Third, Fourth and Fifth Grade teachers to insure a cohesive academic program is in place for your child. With ongoing support from our specialists (Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, School Social Worker), we are dedicated to seeing that your child receives the most complete and comprehensive education possible.
I consider it a privilege to work with your student this year and thank you for sharing them with me. They are a joy and pleasure to have in the classroom. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you would like to discuss your student's progress.
